Many folk will know that we’ve all been very busy over the last number of months with our move to Derryvolgie. In the background though, we’ve also been driven by the need to manage the organisation, it’s work, and ensure that we comply with our legal obligations.
Last week we held Positive Life’s 4th AGM, during which the Board of Directors adopted their Review of 2015 – 2016 Annual Review (attached). A good year, I think you’ll agree, and I hope that you’ll share in our satisfaction of what we’ve achieved in what I think can reasonably be described as a challenging time for our sector.
And we’ve not only been reflecting on the year gone by! We’ve also been thinking about and planning for the future. So, it’s with a huge sense of anticipation that I’m sharing the new Strategic Plan that will inform what Positive Life will do over the next number of years. It’s a small document – but it’s a big plan! 2017 – 22 Strategic Plan (attached).
I want to thank everyone who committed to its development – for your energy and honesty – you know who you are! I hope you’re as proud of this piece of work as I am. I’m looking forward to working with you all as we strive to deliver on this plan and remove HIV-associated stigma in Northern Ireland.
