Over the weekend the reaction to COVID-19 has increased with further statements and decisions likely to be made in the coming days. It is a worrying time for all.
On a practical level, we at Positive Life have taken all necessary precautions to ensure that we are providing a safe environment, adhering to health & safety recommendations, including regularly and appropriately cleaned premises with hand sanitisers in place to make sure that we play our part in containing the spread of COVID-19.
The safety of our service users, staff, associates and volunteers is our ultimate priority. With moves towards social distancing and the range of other measures going on around us, it’s inevitable that there will be some impact on how we deliver services over the next few weeks.
This is a global issue, the situation is changing on a daily basis. All of us at Positive Life are committed to continuing to work to support our regular service users and anyone living with or affected by HIV. While we don’t yet know the extent of impact, we can be fairly sure that the advice will change. We will be here for guidance at all times.
