Friday night was THE night and well…our Chefs didn’t half “Cook up a Storm”!
Have a wee browse through our photos and you’ll see for yourself that an awesome night was had by all!
Our Volunteers worked extremely hard over recent months, honing their culinary skills and fund-raising, reaching a total of over £7,500!! My sincere thanks to you all.
I also want to thank those who helped support the night in a range of ways, Claire McCollum for her slick compering skills – Gregg Davidson & Cameoflage for the entertainment, and of course the staff team at La Mon Hotel, particularly Clare, Rory, Matt and Alan.
I want to thank the staff team at Positive Life – I certainly don’t make things easy for them – and they do a fantastic job!!
And finally, I owe a huge debt of gratitude to Bernie & Conor McClelland of Rayanne House and Colin McCreedy, the Executive Head Chef at La Mon Hotel!
They all took a leap of faith on my mad-cap scheme and with their tweaking and support we made it a huge success!
I love it when a plan comes together – and it certainly did on Friday.
It’s always great when an event raises money, but we shouldn’t forget that we have over 100 people talking in work about the fabulous event that they attended in support of people living with HIV in NI and sharing their new found understanding – that is priceless!
Thanks also to all of those who sponsored our event – we look forward to working with you again!
Jacquie Richardson, Chief Executive – Positive Life
