This week saw Samantha Murphy, our new Information and Support Services Manager take up post, hot on the heels of Claire Brown, our new Income Generation & Campaigns Manager.
Sam brings extensive experience from her previous roles within the voluntary and community sector – and she knows a wee bit about wine too!
Claire’s 10+ years in fund-raising can only help us secure the resources we need to continue our work – and you’ll see from her first events calendar that she’s off to a running start!!
This is the first time in my time with the organisation that we’ve had a full staff complement and I’m excited to be working alongside them both and the rest of the staff team, Paula, Gavin, Rory, Colin & Des, our Volunteers and Associate staff, as we begin the implementation of our 2017 – 22 Strategic Plan.
Together with the incredible set of skills we have on our Board, I’d say we’re now ready to make positive changes to how Northern Ireland understands the impact living with an HIV diagnosis has on the lives of those affected.
All we need now is an Assembly and we’ll be #cookingupastorm!
