It’s been two weeks since Positive Life’s ‘Strictly’ gala fundraiser and we’re all still buzzin’ about it! It was an amazing night filled with music, dancing, singing, humour and most of all great craic.
I’d like to thank everyone would contributed to making the event such a success. Our volunteer dancers excelled themselves on the night with some incredible moves. You can watch short clips of all the performances here.
John Linehan did a fantastic job as host and there was even an appearance from May McFetridge. Those sitting in the front rows particularly enjoyed this performance.
We were delighted to have the support of Brian Kennedy who volunteered time out of what was a seriously busy schedule for him to sing – and wow – he didn’t half ‘raise us up’! A special mention also goes to our judges, dance instructors, makeup artists, hairdressers and volunteers who all contributed to a fantastic evening.
Money is still coming in from the event but already we have made over £12,500! Thank you so much to everyone for their support.
